Andrew Eick has had a diverse work experience over the years. Andrew started their career as a Software Engineer at UNI/CARE Systems, Inc. in 1992 and later moved on to work as a Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company from 1995 to 2007. In 2003, they joined SSS Research, Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer and held this position until 2008. During this time, they also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at thincSoft from 2007 to 2008. In 2007, they became a Microsoft MVP -- Client Application Development at the Microsoft MVP Program, and held this role until 2009. Andrew then joined TexelTek, Inc. as a Consultant from 2008 to 2009. In 2008, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Mission Focus, and in 2009, they also assumed the role of Chairman and CEO at the Institute for Modern Intelligence.

Andrew Eick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Andrew then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science at Oakland University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995.
