Mark W. possesses extensive experience in financial management and risk analysis, currently serving as the Treasury Manager for the City of Mississauga since March 2009, overseeing a balance sheet portfolio of cash and investments exceeding $1.5 billion. Prior to this role, Mark held positions at Stratix Consulting as the Director of Capital Markets & Risk, focusing on business solutions and risk expertise in global banking, and at BTR Advisers Inc. as Director, providing advisory services in the Micro-Cap and Start-up sectors. Additional experience includes managerial responsibilities at Tibco Finance Technology, specializing in trading and risk management solutions, and a trader role at CIBC World Markets, where Mark managed short derivative products. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Finance) from the University of Waterloo and a Special Honours degree in Economics from York University.
