Missouri River Relief is a small but mighty 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to safely engaging individuals and communities along the Missouri River in exploration, enjoyment, restoration, and care of the river. We do this through hands-on river cleanups, education programs, and recreation.

Since 2001, we have expanded our reach and deepened our impact across the Missouri River, from St. Louis to Omaha, Nebraska.

We host large, efficient, and impactful river cleanup events that bring together hundreds of volunteers. Our experiential education programs serve thousands of students, educators, and families each year - often providing their first opportunity to connect with the river. Our recreation programs, including catfishing events and canoe and kayak races such as the MR340 and Race to the Dome, continue to grow in both participation and diversity.
