Obdulia Ley

Obdulia Ley, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at MISTRAS Group, Inc. since August 2008, currently serving as Technical Support Manager and Subject Matter Expert in Acoustic Emission. In this role, Obdulia develops, tests, and monitors customer solutions while presenting technical packages to attract new clients. Previous positions include Manager of Research Contracts and Applications, where Obdulia secured funding for innovative projects, and Leading Research Scientist, focusing on collaboration with industry and academia. Prior to MISTRAS, Obdulia worked as a Research Scientist at Texas A&M University College of Engineering and held the position of Assistant Professor. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering-Wave Propagation from Rice University, a Product Management Certificate from Product School, and a recent completion of the Applied Data Science Program at MIT Professional Education.
