Vice President and General Counsel

The vice president and general counsel is MIT's chief legal officer, responsible for shaping MIT's approach to legal and regulatory affairs, advising the Institute's senior officers, and leading the Office of the General Counsel.

The Office of the General Counsel acts as MIT's internal law office, providing legal advice, counseling, and service to MIT and representing the Institute on all legal matters arising out of the activities of MIT.
