Quentin FERRY (he/his)

Originally trained as an engineer in the early 2010s, I have since had the good fortune to work with inspiring people on a wide range of projects spanning the fields of biomedical engineering, synthetic biology/genome engineering, neuroscience, and machine learning. Throughout these years, I have developed a strong and long-lasting desire to understand intelligence, with the aim of distilling its principles to create more intelligent machines. This very ambition has taken me to the Picower Institute of Learning and Memory (MIT), where a few others in the Tonegawa lab and I are shedding light on the formation, storage, and generalization of knowledge in biological and artificial brains.

Beyond the lab, I'm a proud father of two, an avid endurance athlete, and a music composition enthusiast, balancing the rigor of research with the joy of family life and personal passions.
