Oscar Martinez

Oscar Martinez has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Oscar began their career in 2003 as an International Accounts Coordinator at Kuehne + Nagel. Oscar then worked at Telefónica México as a Telecommunications Consultant and later as a Retail Sales Specialist. In 2010, Oscar joined Cemex as a Fleet and Logistics Coordinator. Oscar went on to hold positions at Yellow Pages / Pages Jaunes – Canada as a Sales and Customer Service Representative, SETYM International Inc. as a Tour Guide, and Aimia Inc. as a Travel Consultant. From 2015 to 2016, Oscar worked as a Corporate Housing Specialist at CorporateStays.com. Oscar then joined Momentum Travel Group as a Sales Consultant. Oscar later joined DART Aerospace and held various roles including Inside Sales Representative/LATAM, Inside Sales Representative/AMERICAS, and Customer Experience Representative. Currently, they are working at Mitacs as a Marketing Specialist Lead Qualification.

Oscar Martinez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, they studied Economics and Communication at Universidad de Burgos for a year. In 2001, they obtained an English Certificate from Thompson Rivers University. In 2012, they pursued a French Certificate at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Oscar then attended Collège April-Fortier in 2013, where they earned a Travel Industry Specialist (AEC) degree focused on the organization of national and international travel. Lastly, in 2019 and 2020, Oscar studied Portuguese at the YMCA International Language School, earning a certificate.
