Shahnaz Taleb is currently an Accelerate Fellow at Mitacs since September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant in multiple engineering courses at Western University from April 2020 to April 2025 and a full-time Teaching Assistant for the Department of Biology. Shahnaz has also worked as a Research Assistant in the EngAGE Lab at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Kalman Lab at The University of British Columbia. Educationally, Shahnaz is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering at Western University, expected to graduate in August 2025, having previously earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honors from the same institution. Shahnaz completed secondary education at École secondaire Gabriel-Dumont, receiving an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a Certificate of Bilingualism.
