Stephen Butters

Stephen Butters is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in management and business development. Currently serving as the General Manager at Mitchell Services Limited since July 2019 and Director Mining at Siecap since February 2018, Stephen has held various leadership roles across the mining sector. Notable past positions include Mining Manager at Red Bull Powder Company and Underground Projects Manager at Maxam Australia. As Director of International Operations at Salva Resources, Stephen managed operations in multiple countries, including India and Mozambique. Additional experience includes roles at PT Multi Gemilang Resources, Northern Iron, P&H Mining Equipment, Orica, and Dyno Nobel. Stephen holds a BSc in Mining Engineering from UNSW, completed in 1984.
