For over 30 years, Mitchell & Urwin have been the superstructure partner that national house builders across Yorkshire and the North trust to deliver.

Award-winning masonry, Layher system scaffolding and in-house manufactured products – individual or fully integrated. One company. One point of accountability.

We know the reality of multi-plot housing delivery.

Programme pressure. Prelim control. Handover deadlines. H&S audit readiness. Variation that eats your margin.

Managing separate brickwork gangs and scaffold contractors makes all of that harder than it needs to be.

What we bring to you:

✔ Sequenced Layher scaffold design aligned to your build programme
✔ Plot-labelled, just-in-time deliveries
✔ In-house brick specials & cast stone manufacturing
✔ TG30:24 aligned inspection regimes
✔ Competent CISRS/CSCS trained workforce
✔ A dedicated team with drive and commitment
✔ Safe Site Operations

The result?

Scaffold turns matched to build sequence. Reduced rework and snagging. Lower idle time across trades. Clear scope boundaries and RAMS ownership. Audit-ready TG30:24 alignment. Safe site operations. Effective ownership of programme and collaborative success.

One team. One margin. Fewer prelim days. Fewer surprises.
