Deanna Salas

Deanna Salas, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources leader currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Mitchell1 since 2025. They have held various significant roles at Connect Biopharma, including Director and Senior Human Resources Manager, between 2022 and 2025. Prior to that, Deanna worked at MORSCO as a Human Resources Manager and had a notable tenure at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner from 2019 to 2021. Their career also includes a long-standing position as Senior HR Manager at Pier 1 Imports from 2000 to 2018. Deanna is pursuing a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology at UC San Diego.
