Bree Hester

Bree Hester, LMSW, is the Director of Advancement at Mitchell’s Place, a position they have held since 2024. Bree completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Mississippi State University and later earned a Master of Social Work with a focus on Public Policy from Columbia University. Previously, they gained valuable experience as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives and served as the Government Affairs/PAC Manager for the USA Rice Federation, among other roles. Bree's early career included internships at the Mississippi Substance Abuse Professional Services and the National Association of Social Workers, where they developed skills in client assistance and public policy advocacy.
