Lauren Comer

Lauren Comer is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Children's of Alabama as a Flexi occupational therapist since September 2020 and at Mitchell's Place as a part-time occupational therapist since April 2020. Previous experience includes a role at Encompass Health as a PRN occupational therapist from August 2019 to June 2021, and various fieldwork positions at Children's of Alabama in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Lauren's early career included work as a babysitter focusing on developmental milestones for young children and serving as a graduate lab assistant for anatomy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of North Alabama.
