Kim Porter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kim is currently the Director of Mechanical Engineering at MiTek Electronics & Communications, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Kim founded HatchOne, Inc. in 1999 and led the company as Founder/Director, overseeing numerous product development programs for various clients. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Director of Engineering at Lora DiCarlo, a startup focused on designing micro-robots for the health and wellness industry. Kim also worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Biamp Systems from 2010 to 2019, where they played a key role in the successful design and development of the Biamp Tesira product line.
