Andrew Chatzis

Andrew Chatzis, MD, PhD, FETCS, is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon and Deputy Director of the 1st Department of Cardiac Surgery. They have extensive experience in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, including both congenital and acquired conditions, as well as cardiac transplantation. Andrew previously served as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre and held various roles in cardiothoracic surgery across multiple hospitals. They received their Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Athens. Andrew continues to contribute to the field at Mitera Hospital from 2023 onward.
