Antonio Pares is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in sustainable design and ecological community planning. Since May 2006, Antonio has served as Principal at Mithun, focusing on integrating natural systems with client needs. From September 2010 to June 2013, Antonio taught "Principles of Sustainable Design" at UC Berkeley Extension and was a member of the Advisory Board for the Landscape Architecture program. Previous roles include Staff Architect for the State of New Mexico, where contributions included drafting green building standards, and Principal at Van Amburgh + Pares + Co, emphasizing sustainable strategies in residential projects. Antonio's earlier experience includes positions as Lead Designer at Studio Arquitectura and Project Architect at various firms, contributing to notable projects such as Sundance Resort and the College of Santa Fe Visual Arts Center. Antonio holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc.
