Alex Avila

Alex Avila is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy, decarbonisation, and sustainability. Currently, as Managing Director of Consulting and Energy Solutions at Mitie since July 2021, Alex leads teams dedicated to helping clients achieve net zero targets more rapidly. Prior roles include Director of Plan Zero Consulting at Mitie, where support was provided to both public and private sector clients in their decarbonisation journeys, and Director of E-Mobility Solutions at KPMG, focusing on the future mobility ecosystem. Alex’s career began with the Energy Analyst Graduate Scheme at EDF Energy and included positions at StrategicFit, specializing in energy strategy consulting, and an internship at a sustainability firm. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical with Nuclear Engineering from Imperial College London and an International Baccalaureate from St. Georges British International School.
