Andy Maddox

Andy Maddox is currently the QSHE Manager at Mitie and has over 20 years of experience in health and safety across hospitals and various service industries. Andy worked as a QSHE Manager at Sodexo from 2014 to 2022, ensuring site compliance and promoting teamwork across services. Prior to that, Andy served as an IMS Advisor at Carillion from 1986 to 2014, providing health and safety support across diverse contracts. Additionally, Andy held the position of Assistant Hotel Services Manager at the NHS from 1986 to 2001, overseeing health and food safety for a large team. Andy's background also includes a decade of experience in the hospitality trade, primarily as a Chef, before transitioning into training and health and safety roles.
