Andy Thompson

Andy Thompson is a seasoned leader in the Technical FM sector, currently serving as the Managing Director of Mitie's Technical FM services since April 2011, overseeing the largest UK hard services provider and market leader in Integrated Facility Management for diverse public and private clients. Prior to this role, Andy held the position of Procurement Director at Mitie from 2009 to 2011, contributing to the merger with Dalkia to create the largest Technical FM business in the UK. With previous experience as Procurement Director at Dalkia from 1999 to 2009, Andy was responsible for UK procurement activities with significant annual purchases, while also having operational management experience in various roles, including overseeing a major Combined Heat and Power project at AstraZeneca. Andy holds an HND in Marine Engineering from Riversdale, Liverpool, following education at Helsby Grammar School.
