James Spires is currently the Head of Net Zero Estates and Infrastructure at Mitie, leading efforts in sustainable development. They have a strong background in business development and strategy across energy, services, and digital sectors, possessing exceptional stakeholder management skills. Previously, James served as Managing Director of Smart Buildings at Equans UK & Ireland and held various roles at ENGIE and Balfour Beatty Workplace, including Strategy Director and Business Development Manager. James's career includes significant contributions to large-scale public and private projects, such as the London 2012 Olympics. They earned a 2:1 degree in Business Management from Staffordshire University.
