John Blackhurst

John Blackhurst is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as QHSE Lead and previously as QHSE Systems Manager at Mitie since January 2018, John has a strong background in project management and analysis, demonstrated during tenure at Technip as Synergi Refresh Project Manager and QHSE Systems Analyst from May 2014 to January 2018. Prior to this, John served as a Police Constable with Police Scotland for nearly seven years and worked at Ladbrokes for four years. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Safety and Risk Management from Robert Gordon University, a NEBOSH National General Certificate, and a Diploma in Police Service Leadership and Management from The University of Stirling, along with a MA in Management Studies and an HND in Hospitality Management from University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University, respectively.
