Mark Oconnor

Mark O'Connor has extensive experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, currently serving as a Mechanical Electrical Chargehand at Mitie since February 2014, where responsibilities include planned preventative maintenance and reactive works in various administrative buildings, as well as participating in an on-call team for emergencies. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Engineering Supervisor at Carillion from September 2006 to February 2014, overseeing a team of mobile engineers and managing maintenance tasks in financial retail units. Earlier experience includes working as a Lighthouse Technician Electrical for the Commissioners of Irish Lights, focusing on maintenance of navigation aids, and serving as an electrician at Mercury Engineering, performing installations and wiring tasks. Mark's career began as an electro-mechanical service engineer at Victor Fulton, repairing industrial cleaning equipment. Mark completed education at Saint Marks Community School from 1985 to 1988.
