Muhammad Askar Acma

Muhammad Askar ACMA is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance at Mitie since August 2018, with prior roles as Senior Finance Business Partner and Finance Business Partner. Previously, Muhammad held the position of Senior Finance Business Partner at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, overseeing a budget of £370 million, and managed the finances for seven Non Departmental Public Bodies with a total budget exceeding £700 million. Muhammad's earlier experience includes Finance Manager roles at the Directory of Social Change and The Eikon Charity, as well as serving as an Assistant Management Accountant and Business Support Coordinator at the Directory of Social Change. Educational qualifications include a Level 7 degree in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from the Chartered Management Institute, participation in the Executive Development Programme at Imperial College and Corndel, and holding the ACMA designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, along with a BA in Business Finance from the University of East London.
