Or Benson is a seasoned Data Engineer currently employed at Mitiga since July 2025, specializing in designing scalable, multi-cloud MLOps pipelines for model deployment across environments such as GCP and AWS. Previous experience includes a role at Varonis as an MLOps Software & Data Engineer, where Or built end-to-end systems utilizing Delta Parquet-based data lakes for data ingestion and transformation. At Google for Startups, Or led the development of ML and data engineering pipelines using PySpark on Dataproc and model deployment via Vertex AI, while also integrating GCS, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery. Or's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Reichman University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on machine learning from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, research experience as a Deep Learning Researcher at the MCM Lab at Tel Aviv University involved applying classical and deep learning techniques to computer vision and NLP, particularly in healthcare and autonomous systems.
