MitiMeth is a Design and Materials company transforming invasive aquatic plants and agricultural residues into regenerative materials and refined interior products.

Working primarily with water hyacinth and other natural fibres, we convert environmental challenges into design-led solutions for modern spaces. Our collections span lighting, textiles, accessories and architectural elements, crafted to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality interiors.

At the core of MitiMeth is a regenerative model that restores ecosystems while creating economic opportunity. By harvesting invasive species from waterways, we help improve access for fishing and transportation, while building decentralized production systems that engage and empower local artisans.

To date, MitiMeth has trained over 1,500 women and youth across 25+ communities, equipping them with skills in material transformation and product development. These communities form part of a growing network of makers contributing to a new design economy rooted in sustainability and shared value.

Beyond products, MitiMeth is advancing bio-based material innovation for applications across interiors, fashion and packaging and industrial design. Our work sits at the intersection of craft, technology and environmental restoration.
