Jonathan Ferrera

Jonathan Ferrera has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Jonathan began their career as Pool Staff at Elmhurst Park District in 2004, where they were responsible for supervising patrons in specific sections of the pool in cooperation with the lifeguards and managers. In 2008, they began working as a Sales Associate at Steve & Barry's, where they assisted in moving and organizing inventory, and was entrusted with cashier duties and directly interacting with the customers. Since 2012, Jonathan has been working as a Software Developer at Mitra US Computer Solutions, Inc, where they assist in the development of software solutions using C# and Visual Basic for various clients, and provides technical support regarding solutions that were previously-built for the clients. Jonathan also attends meetings and conferences to plan on-going projects, and to conceptualize solutions to complications that arise in a variable business environment.

Jonathan Ferrera began their educational journey at Fenwick High School, where they graduated in 2005. Jonathan then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2007, studying Computer Engineering. Jonathan then attended College of DuPage from 2007 to 2008, before transferring to Northern Illinois University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science in 2011.
