Alexander Luttmann

Principal Economist

Alexander Luttmann is a Ph.D. economist specializing in applied microeconomics, transportation economics, and competition policy. They served as a Research Analyst at The Brattle Group from 2011 to 2014 and held a role as an Instructor at UC Irvine from 2017 to 2018, where they also worked as a Teaching Assistant. Previously, Alexander was a Research Assistant at the Bureau of Economic Analysis in 2010. Most recently, they worked as a Lead Economist and Principal Economist at MITRE from 2019 to 2022. Alexander earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics from The George Washington University, followed by a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Irvine.
