Ben Wellner is a Chief Scientist and Lead Scientist at MITRE, a position held since December 1999. Previously, Ben Wellner was a Graduate Student in Computer Science at Brandeis University from 2004 to 2009. Ben Wellner earned a PhD in Computer Science from Brandeis University in 2008, an MSc in Computing from Imperial College London in 1999, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998. Additionally, there was a period of study at the University of Oslo from 1996 to 1997 and at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2002 to 2004.
