Brett Profitt

Brett Profitt is a Lead Engineer at MITRE and a core developer for the open-source Elgg social networking engine. They manage the Elgg community and sit on the board of The Elgg Foundation while also providing consulting and freelance services. With a background in backend development and web service APIs, Brett has experience in large code base management, team collaboration, and long-term project execution. They hold a BME in Music Education and a BA in Japanese Language and Culture from The Ohio State University, along with additional studies at the University of Tsukuba.
