Chris Flake is currently the Chief Scientist at MITRE and has served as a Project Leader since 2015, managing and executing projects within the S&T community at NGA. They previously worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2011 to 2014 and as a Visiting Scientist at NGA from 2010 to 2011. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from the University of Maryland College Park, where they also earned a Master's Degree. Chris completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at North Carolina State University.
