Conor Lewellyn

Chief Environmental Engineer

Conor Lewellyn, PhD, PE, is a seasoned environmental engineer with extensive experience in water resources and infrastructure. Currently serving as the Chief Environmental Engineer and Lead Energy and Water Infrastructure Engineer at MITRE since December 2021, Conor previously held the position of Manager of Water Resources at OptiRTC, Inc. from October 2016 to December 2021. Conor's early career included roles as a Project Engineer at Hatch Mott MacDonald and a Water Resources Engineer at URS Corporation, as well as academic involvement as a Graduate Research Assistant at Villanova University. Conor earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Water Resources Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.
