Danielle Carter is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in business process innovation and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Engineer and Principal Business Systems Engineer at MITRE since February 2020, Danielle leads efforts to architect innovative solutions that enhance government organizations' strategic and operational capabilities. Prior experience includes roles as Business Process Engineer and Branch Head for Business Operations at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where Danielle contributed significantly from February 2002 to February 2020. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering Leadership from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completed between 2020 and 2023, and has served as a Senior Fellow in the Excellence in Government Fellows Program from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Danielle earned a degree in Imaging and Digital Arts with a focus on Multimedia from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
