Deep Patel

Deep Patel is a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Autonomous Systems at MITRE since April 2019, having progressed through roles including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer focused on Artificial Intelligence. Prior to MITRE, Deep completed a software engineering internship at IBM, where responsibilities included designing a deployment verification test suite and establishing a DevOps pipeline. Previous experience includes an engineering internship at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, where involvement in large-scale construction projects and site management was highlighted. Deep also has experience as an engineering tutor at Rutgers School of Engineering and participated as a finalist in the Quant Quest Competition at Goldman Sachs, developing a natural language processing model. Deep holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, complemented by a minor in Mathematics.
