Doug Northrip

Doug Northrip is a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer Manager at MITRE since June 2018, where responsibilities include developing cybersecurity policies and procedures for the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and providing strategic oversight for cybersecurity projects at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to this role, Doug served as Director of Information and Security Infrastructure at SandRidge Energy, managing complex security architectures, and worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for General Dynamics Information Technology, focusing on security solutions for military forces. Doug holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from The University of Oklahoma. Notable accomplishments include contributions to NIST publications and the development of incident response playbooks utilizing SOAR technology.
