Ian Gross

Ian Gross is a Human Language Technology Senior Scientist at MITRE, where since July 2018, expertise in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Semantic Web has been applied to support internal projects and collaborations with government agencies. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Researcher at Tetherless World Constellation, working on the Child Health Exposure Analysis Repository project under Professor Deborah McGuinness, and a brief stint as an Innovation Technology Co-op at MITRE, where innovative technology was leveraged for various projects. Earlier internships include a Geocoding Engineering Intern position at Pitney Bowes and a Research Intern role at New York University, focusing on biometric user identification systems. Ian Gross holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
