Jeff Breunig, PMP, serves as Principal for Navigation & Unmanned Aircraft Systems at MITRE since April 2014, overseeing Research & Development for the integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems into the National Airspace System in support of the Federal Aviation Administration's mission. Additionally, Breunig holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Small Aircraft Transportation System, Inc. and previously worked at ICF International as Principal in the Transportation/Aviation Sector. Past experience includes program management roles at Arthur D. Little and a 22-year career in the United States Air Force as an aviator and squadron commander. Breunig holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Science in Business Management from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, along with education from the Project Management Institute and the DOD Defense Acquisition University.
