Jill Drury

Jill Drury is a retired researcher and department manager at The MITRE Corporation, where they focused on optimizing human interaction technology and work processes for safety-critical applications, especially in robotics and emergency response. They served as a researcher and department head in the Collaboration and Social Computing Department at MITRE while also teaching as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Jill holds a Sc.D. in Computer Science/Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, as well as multiple degrees, including an MS in Computer Science and an MSBA in Business Administration from Boston University and a BA in Physics from Macalester College. Throughout their career, they have emphasized collaborative decision-making and human-robot interaction in their research work.
