John Michitson

John Michitson has extensive experience in systems engineering and project leadership, currently working at MITRE since August 1981, where efforts are focused on developing a next-generation data-centric Battle Management Command and Control system for U.S. and allied forces. Michitson's previous role as Product Manager at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs involved leading the product definition and development of advanced network management systems, as well as formulating roadmaps for multi-service switches. Additionally, Michitson has served as a City Councilor for the City of Haverhill for eleven terms and has held the position of City Council President for five terms. Michitson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College and is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurial Development Program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
