John Ruddy is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in missile defense and information technology. Currently serving as Chief Scientist for Integrated Missile Defense at MITRE since November 2004, Ruddy previously held the role of Executive Director, leading system engineering efforts for the Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System. His career at MITRE includes positions such as Director of Capability Management and Chief Enterprise Systems Engineer, where Ruddy provided crucial technical and program management expertise. Prior to MITRE, Ruddy served as Technical Director & Deputy for Development at the Missile Defense Agency, and has held senior leadership positions at The Kessler Companies, eNTR, and Concept Five Technologies. Ruddy's academic credentials include a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan University, an MS in Electrophysics, and a PhD in Electrophysics from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
