Lynelle Johnson, MS, BSN, RN, is currently a Principal Health Systems and Practice Advisor at MITRE. Previously, they served as the Acting Chief Medical Officer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization and held roles as Associate Chief Medical Information Officer and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer within the same organization. From 2008 to 2018, Lynelle was the Chief Health Informatics Officer for the VISN 10-VA Healthcare Network of Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Lynelle obtained a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics from the University of Colorado at Denver and holds both a Bachelor of Science and an Associate’s degree in Registered Nursing from Northern Kentucky University.
