Mark Buchanan

Mark Buchanan is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal CyberSecurity Architect and Group Lead at MITRE since October 2012, Mark has previously held significant roles including Director of Corporate Information Security and Director of Information Security at SAVVIS, Inc. from November 2004 to September 2012. Mark's early career includes positions as a Security Development Engineer at NCI Information Systems and a Systems Administrator at GTE Government Systems, along with foundational experience as a Computer Center Worker at McKendree College. Mark holds a degree from McKendree University, obtained between 1993 and 1999.
