Matt Chabala is a Senior Operations Research Data Scientist at MITRE, where they turn complex data into actionable insights through data science and mathematical optimization. Previously, they served as an Energy Supply/Fuels Intern at Dominion Energy. Matt holds a Master of Science from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary and completed their undergraduate studies at William & Mary. In addition to their professional work, they developed SEATS, a full-stack platform that uses mixed-integer optimization to create compliant teacher schedules efficiently.
