Megan McCarthy

Megan McCarthy, CIPP/G, PMP, is a Principal Cybersecurity and Privacy Leader at MITRE, where they leverage their extensive background in information technology, cybersecurity, and privacy to deliver impactful programs for the Federal government. With experience spanning various sectors, including civil, defense, and commercial markets, they specialize in program management, data protection, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Previously, Megan held roles such as Information Security Manager at Freddie Mac and Advisory Manager at PwC, among others. They thrive on building and mentoring teams, establishing trusted relationships, and enhancing organizational collaboration to drive successful outcomes. Megan is pursuing a B.S. in Integrated Science and Technology with a focus on Biotechnology at James Madison University.
