Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded security and systems architecture. Currently serving as the Principal Embedded Security Engineer at MITRE since March 2022, Michael has a strong background in technical solution development, having worked at The Aerospace Corporation as a Sr. Project Leader focused on embedded systems architecture and at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. as a Principal Systems Architect, where notable projects included advanced AI and robotics demonstrations for military applications. Michael also co-founded The PTR Group, a technology firm, where leadership extended to developing innovative engineering solutions for various clients. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of South Florida.
