Michael Bates

Michael Bates has extensive experience in military and cybersecurity roles. Serving in the United States Air Force since August 1994, Bates progressed through various positions, including NCOIC of Network Control Center Flight and Quality Assurance roles, ultimately graduating from officer school and currently serving in an engineering flight with the 212 EIS. Since February 2010, Bates has been employed as a Cyber Security Engineer at Mitre Corporation. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, as well as a Master of Science in Security Studies with a concentration in Cybersecurity from the same institution. Bates completed high school at Westford Academy.
