Michael Munoz

Michael Munoz is a Lead Systems Engineer at MITRE, where they have contributed to projects such as the AVM Project and developed physics-based aircraft performance models. They began their career with internships at prestigious organizations, including Pratt & Whitney, Space Exploration Technologies, and Orbital Sciences Corporation. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan. Their early experience also includes work on the communication system for the Exoplanet satellite and co-founding Pixelchopper, a company focused on innovative rotorcraft technology.
