Mike Dowe

Principal Information Systems Engineer

Mike Dowe, D.Sc., is a Principal Information Systems Engineer at MITRE, with a tenure starting in July 2010. Dowe leads projects that support the Veterans Administration in delivering strategic advice and innovative solutions for enterprise-level challenges. Prior experience includes valuable roles at the International Monetary Fund as a Senior Work Practices Officer, where strategic business initiatives were managed, and at Northrop Grumman, where Dowe managed the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System for the intelligence community. Additional positions include advising on defense reform at the Department of Defense and serving in logistics and analyst roles with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the U.S. Army. Dowe holds a Doctorate of Science from Robert Morris University, a master's degree in Management from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
