Mitchell Jacobs

Mitchell Jacobs is an experienced Communications Engineer with a strong background in electrical and computer engineering. Currently employed at MITRE since August 2023, Mitchell has previously held positions such as WiLab Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from January 2022 to June 2023, and intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the summer of 2022. Additional experience includes working as a Wireless Communications Intern at Shure Incorporated and serving as a freelance audio engineer and sound designer from 2018 to 2021. Mitchell has also worked as a project engineer at Bertussi’s Plumbing Heating & Cooling and as an audio engineer at Reiner Sound. Early work includes a summer internship at Production Resource Group and a counselor role at Blue Rill Day Camp. Mitchell holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, along with a high school diploma from Tappan Zee High School.
