Nathaniel Ratcliff, PhD, is a human-centered research and data analytics specialist with over 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and designing rigorous research programs in applied behavioral science and data science. Currently serving as the Lead Applied Behavioral Scientist at MITRE, Nathaniel develops evidence-based strategies to mitigate insider risks within organizations. Previously, they worked as a Research Psychologist at the U.S. Army Research Institute and held a Research Assistant Professor position at the University of Virginia, where they managed multidisciplinary teams on projects for the U.S. Army. Nathaniel obtained a PhD in Social Psychology from Penn State University, complemented by a Master’s degree from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
