Robert Young

Robert (Rocky) Young is currently a Principal Cyber Security Engineer at MITRE, where they focus on various aspects of cyber security, including eHealth records and mobile device protection. Rocky has been a professor at the National Defense University since 2012, teaching a course in the Masters of Cyber Security Program. They previously held roles as a Division Chief at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the DoD CIO, where they led initiatives in computer network defense and mobile device security. Rocky's educational background includes a BS and MPSS in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, along with advanced studies at the National Defense University.
